About the Tyrrell County Chamber of Commerce

The Tyrrell County Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary membership association that serves as the unified voice of the business community. The Chamber has a membership base of more than 40 business members located in Columbia-Tyrrell County and in the Northeast Region of North Carolina.

The Tyrrell County Chamber of Commerce is a private, not for profit 501 (c) (6) organization. The Chamber of Commerce unites hundreds of companies, professionals, organizations, groups and educational institutions who are committed to building a better community in Columbia and Tyrrell County. Most of our members are small businesses interested in creating and fostering a healthy environment in which to conduct business.

The strength of the Chamber lies in attracting additional members, thus creating a pool of resources from which to draw ideas, energy, and financial support. The Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors include people within the membership that are elected by the members to conduct the business of the Chamber. 

The Tyrrell County Chamber meets the 4th Thursday of each month at 8am at the Tyrrell County Extension Office,  407 Martha St, Columbia NC 27925. Our mailing address is PO Box 170, Columbia, NC 27925.
